## Key Considerations

When maintaining project types:

- Align tab visibility with **user roles and governance needs**
- Ensure workflows reflect the **intended lifecycle and approval process**
- Avoid exposing unnecessary fields or tabs to end users
- Maintain consistency across similar project types

## How to Use This Feature

Use Project Types to:

- Standardise how projects are created
- Control **what users can see and interact with**
- Enforce **project lifecycle and governance processes**
- Improve consistency and data quality across projects

## Tips

- Keep project types focused—avoid overloading with unnecessary tabs
- Review workflows regularly to ensure they reflect current governance
