This personalised dashboard acts as a consistent, user-specific entry point into Altus. It simplifies navigation and helps users stay oriented throughout their workday.&nbsp; <img src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/859bff97-93af-4285-aa97-b523208e0cb8"><ol><li>Upon logging into Altus, users are greeted with a welcome message and the current date.</li><li>The dashboard automatically displays the "My Work" section, tailored to each user displaying all items assigned to you from the project schedules and support item registers.&nbsp;</li></ol><h3> Using Filters and Search &nbsp;</h3>The dashboard includes powerful filtering and visual cues to help users quickly prioritise their workload. At the top of the "My Work" section, users can refine what they see using: &nbsp;<ul><li>Type Filter – Use the dropdown to filter tasks by type (e.g., Tasks, Deliverables, Issues).</li><li>Project Filter – Narrow down tasks by selecting a specific project.</li><li>Search Bar – Quickly locate a task by typing keywords from the title or project name. <img class="image_resized" style="width:88.11%;" src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/f528257a-905f-4f34-8fac-54a227e9e414"></li></ul> These tools help users focus on what’s most relevant to them at any given time. &nbsp;<h3>Understanding the Work Summary Cards</h3> Just below the filters, users will see coloured summary cards that group the work items by urgency: <img class="image_resized" style="width:84.81%;" src="https://cdn-assets.productfruits.com/b983d54a-b265-4fca-a1bf-ec8e509483d9"><ul><li>🔴 Overdue – Work items past their due date (e.g., "4 OVERDUE")</li><li>🟠 Due Today – Work items due by the end of the current day</li><li>🔵 Due This Week – Work items due within the current week</li><li>⚪ Next Week – Work items scheduled for the following week</li></ul>Each card acts as a quick visual indicator of workload and urgency. This app provides access to the platform components natively from Microsoft Teams.Tip: When you launch the Microsoft Teams app, you can click on the Altus button on the left navigation bar or you may need to click on the ellipses (…) to see the app.There are currently four (4) tabs available in the app to allow you to see the Projects, Programs, Portfolios and Proposals in your organization.&nbsp; Depending on licensing and Microsoft365 Group security, you may not see all the options:<ul><li>The tabs you see will depend on what components you are licensed to use.</li><li>Each tab then provides a list of all the components that you have permission to view.</li><li>You will see icons for Project (links to either the native scheduling in the platform , Project Online, Project for the web or Azure DevOps), Altus, Teams and SharePoint. &nbsp;</li></ul><blockquote>Tip: These links are content aware.&nbsp; You will see that some projects only have icons for Project schedule and Altus.&nbsp; This is because, at least at this point in time, the project has not been associated with a Microsoft365 group, therefore there is no Teams Channel, and no documents exist in the SharePoint site.&nbsp;&nbsp; If this changes as the project conditions changes, these icons will become available.</blockquote><ul><li>The first icon will launch the appropriate schedule management tool for the project and ready for review and/or update.</li><li>The second icon will launch Project so that you can review and update all the non-schedule components of the project, such as Issues and Risks.&nbsp;</li><li>The third icon will take you directly to the Teams Channel for the project.&nbsp;</li></ul><blockquote>Important: You must already be a member of that project’s Microsoft365 group for this link to work.</blockquote><ul><li>And similarly, the fourth icon will take you directly to that project’s SharePoint site, again, assuming you are already a member of that’s project Microsoft 365 group.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>The Search box allows you to quickly find an element by name; or alternatively, you can use group by for any display column to find a specific project. &nbsp;</li><li>And finally, you can sort the list by any column to order the project list. &nbsp;</li><li>The same functionalities exist for all the tabs displayed to you in the platform via &nbsp;Microsoft Teams.</li></ul>

It is delivered through these core capabilities.&nbsp; &nbsp;<ol><li>In Personal Productivity, we pull together the work for teams and individuals; across tools and systems to help individuals prioritize their work in the context of what is important to the organization. &nbsp;</li><li>Collaborative Work Management is all about bringing the teams together to work on the project. &nbsp;</li><li>It supports integration with multiple project execution or management tools based on specific requirements and delivery approaches while integrating key high level information back to projects. &nbsp;</li><li>To keep everyone informed, there are many Power BI reports called Insights which allow you to monitor work and exceptions over all elements from challenges through to benefits realization.&nbsp; Insights exist for Strategy, Portfolio/Programs, Innovations, Intake, Projects, and Work.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>In Enterprise Resource Management, we provide visibility into potential bottlenecks for teams, roles and individuals across all work in the organization. &nbsp;</li><li>And finally, you can ensure you maximize your Strategic Planning and Benefits Realization by managing the complete lifecycle, tracking the work from inception to completion and beyond with benefits realization tracking.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ol>In terms of areas: &nbsp;<ul><li>Work&nbsp;is a section of Project that highlights the personal productivity of individual team members based on what is assigned to them across projects. &nbsp;</li><li>Projects delivers on features to enable task management, project management, reporting and general collaboration around projects. &nbsp;</li><li>Portfolios adds the ability to manage portfolios and programs as well as coordinate intake through proposals, challenges and ideas. &nbsp;</li><li>Strategy at the top, hooks in strategic themes, strategic goals and benefits realization features. &nbsp;</li><li>Resources adds the ability to manage resource capacity and demand across all work, optimize utilization; limit delays and resolve bottlenecks.
