Build a new project from an existing schedule in external tools

All new projects should be created in the platform.  It is recommended that the existing schedule or template has been sanitised in the external tool to ensure that it represents organisational policies and procedures and represents a good starting point for all future projects.

To build a project from an existing schedule or template:

Linking the project to an external execution tool:

  1. Ensure you are in Projects area and click Projects in the Leadership section.

  2. Ensure you are on the Information grouping tab.

  3. Click Link a project and select an external execution tool from the available list (e.g. Jira, DevOps, Planner Premium, Microsoft Project).
