Resources Overview
The Resources area provides a centralised way to manage workforce supply, demand, skills, and availability. It helps organisations plan capacity, allocate the right people to the right work, and make informed resourcing decisions using real‑time insights.
Navigating to Resources
- In the site map on the left, select Resources.
- Under Resources, you will see the following options:
- Resource Demand
- Resources (Bookable)
- Enterprise Calendars
- Availability Heatmap
- Timesheet Approvals
- Insights
What Each Section Does
Resource Demand
Captures and tracks the demand for resources needed to deliver work.
- Purpose: Fulfill current and future resource needs.
- Use Case: Identify shortages or surpluses of capacity across roles or time periods.
Resources
Provides a central register of all available resources.
- Purpose: Maintain a single source of truth for people and their key attributes.
- Example: View resource details such as primary role, rate cards, calendars, etc.
Enterprise Calendars
Defines organisational working calendars, including holidays and non‑working days.
- Purpose: Ensure availability and capacity calculations are accurate.
- Example: Public holidays, organisational shutdown periods, or regional calendars.
Availability Heatmap
Provides a visual planning workspace that combines resource availability, capacity, proposed demand, and committed demand.
Purpose:
- Identify overallocated and underutilised resources.
- Review resource capacity.
- Support fulfilment and allocation decisions.
- Focus on selected Projects and resources.
- Assist with proactive resource planning.
Users can review workload, availability, and allocation information in a single view, helping reduce the need to switch between multiple resource management screens.
Timesheet Approvals
Supports the review and approval of submitted timesheets.
- Purpose: Ensure time tracking accuracy and governance.
- Use Case: Managers review and approve resource time entries.
Insights
Resources Insights provides consolidated reporting and analytics across workforce, capacity, utilisation, timesheet, and financial data.
Purpose:
Enable data-driven resource planning, workforce management, utilisation analysis, compliance monitoring, and financial decision-making.
Resources Insights combines supply, demand, utilisation, compliance, and financial information into a single reporting experience.
The dashboard includes the following reporting areas:
Resource Information
Provides visibility into:
- Resource roles
- Departments

- Target utilisation
- Organisational structure
Use this view to understand workforce composition and resource distribution across teams and departments.
Availability
Provides capacity planning and allocation insights by combining:
