Generate and share the project status report
The Project Status Report provides a real-time view of project performance, including progress, key metrics, and overall health. This report can be generated directly from the project and shared with stakeholders to support regular reporting and governance.
Accessing the Project Status Report
- Open the required Project
- Navigate to the Tracking section
- Select the Status Report tab
The report is generated in real time based on the latest project data.
Generating the Report
The report automatically reflects the current state of the project, including:
- Current stage and progress
- Key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Deliverables, issues, risks, and other tracking data
No manual refresh is required—changes in the project are reflected directly in the report.
Important: Real-Time Report Behaviour
The Project Status Report always reflects the current state of the project.
- There is no built-in historical snapshotting of reports by default
- The report will not retain past versions automatically
This means:
- Each time the report is generated, it reflects latest available data only
- Previous versions of the report are not stored in the system
To maintain a history of reports:
- Export and save the report at each reporting period
- Apply a clear naming convention (e.g. project name + date or reporting period)
- Store exported reports in a central location to build a historical reporting library
Exporting the Report
To share the report externally:
- From the Status Report view, select Export
- Choose the required format
Recommended format:
- PDF (.pdf) – Ideal for sharing with stakeholders and maintaining a consistent layout
Other formats may be available (e.g. Excel, Word), depending on reporting needs.
